1. How to Use This Practice Test

- Reading: ~40–45 minutes
- Listening: ~35 minutes

3. Reading
The Reading section checks your ability to understand short passages, announcements, and sometimes simple ads or flyers. You need to grasp the main ideas, pick out specific details, and interpret the text’s meaning.

The Listening section can be tricky for many learners. You’ll hear short dialogues, announcements, or simple monologues in Japanese, often at a moderate speed. Make sure you listen for context clues—who’s speaking, what the setting is, and what the main topic might be.
